Inflatable Bag Stops are used when pipe is out of round or inside surface conditions of the pipe prevent a standard Line Stop. A small hot tap is made into a pipe and an inflatable pipe plug is inserted into the pipe, so as to allow the plug to stop the flow in the pipe.
